A cultural heritage festival in Abu Dhabi
The “Khwa Sir Al Hossan” festival takes place in the middle of the bustling city of Abu Dhabi. It is considered to be the birthplace of Abu Dhabi. There is an ancient fort there. This festival venue is in front of “Khwa Sir Al Hosan” fort. The old fort is well preserved even today. Entered after a thorough inspection.
This mamangam aims to convey the knowledge, tradition and culture of Abu Dhabi. It is organized by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Cultural Authority.
Traditional clothes and handicrafts are all for sale there. On one side is the hustle and bustle of hawker sitting on the ground selling their products. On one side is their famous Emirati kitchen. Traditional dishes are cooked in front of our eyes. There is a huge queue to buy it. Then attar, oud, this is their personal pride. Eid is smoldering in front of its outlet. A special smell of it has pervaded the whole place’. There is also a large market for other perfumes.
You can see the old schools, houses, kitchen and library there. There are facilities for camel riding and horse riding. Various cultural events are held at various venues there. The main stage is in the auditorium there. It can be said that there is no other nation that shows so much enthusiasm for its heritage.
