Virtual Queue (Sabarimala Virtual Queue) is a system developed by the Kerala Police as part of facilitating darshan by avoiding congestion. The virtual queue was managed and controlled by the police itself. But following the High Court verdict, the Travancore Devaswom Board is directly managing the virtual queue system from this year. To be able to visit Sabarimala, pilgrims have to book through virtual queue this year too. Pilgrims can easily select the date and time for Sabarimala darshan and complete the booking through the virtual queue system. The Devaswom Board has also provided spot booking facility for the pilgrims who are not able to book online.
One of the identity documents Aadhaar, Voter ID Card and Passport is required to book the virtual queue. Devotees can directly book into the virtual queue through the website sabarimalaonline.org. Kovid certificate is not mandatory this time. Children under five years are not required to book via Virtual Queue. 1,20,000 pilgrims can book online in a day.
How to Book Virtual Queue in Sabarimala?
1. Go to the website sabarimalaonline.org.
2. Click on Virtual Queue option.
3. Select the desired day and time for darshan.
4. Now user registration. Those who have already registered can book virtual queue using email id, mobile number and password. Photo (less than 1 MB size) is required for new registration. After entering the name details, enter the password and complete the registration. After this the details of the accompanying members are provided.

5. A user can book a virtual queue for five people at a time. Enter name, mobile number and ID of accompanying persons.
6. Click on Add to Whitelist option. With this, the name information can be seen on the right side of the website.
7. Click on proceed option and then confirm option to complete the booking.
8. Go to the Transaction History option in the profile and download the PDF and save it. Carry a copy of this PDF along with all pilgrims’ identity documents while going for Sabarimala darshan.
9. In case of booking for more than five pilgrims, just log in again and select the same date and time and enter the mobile number, name details and identity document of the rest of the pilgrims. Appam and Aravana can also be booked online.
Spot booking
For those who are unable to book online, a spot booking system has been set up at the Travancore Devaswom Board’s state centers and stops. Appointment can be booked by entering mobile number and ID card. Spot booking facility has been introduced in 12 centers in the first phase.
