Small rocks like dark spots in between. On the other side of the path are hills covered with green meadows. The area has been secured with electric fence for fear of wild animals. During the journey you can see elephants and other animals. Pipelines have been installed to permanently use the water flowing down the hill to the houses below. The water from the stream is clean and cold.
How to Reach Aranamala peakAranmala is located 12 km from Mepadi in Wayanad and about 5 km from Kulladi. To reach Aranmala first you have to take the Churanmala road from Meppadi. Then you have to go to Aranamala from Kalladi. An interlocked path for a short distance then leads to a rugged path. So off-road vehicles are suitable here.
