Malampuzha Dam is one of the most beautiful places in the Palakkad district of Kerala. It also has the distinction of being the largest dam in Kerala.Malampuzha, located in the Palakkad district of Kerala, is a popular destination for boat rides.
My friend and I boarded a bus from Palakkad to Malampuzha. The bus fare was Rs 9. We reached Malampuzha in about 20 minutes .

The Malampuzha Dam was built in 1955.I opened my eyes and walked to see the visual beauty of Malampuzha. Dam built across the Malampuzha River, a tributary of the Kalpathipuzha, a major tributary of the Bharathapuzha in Malampuzha, near Palakkad in the Palakkad district of Kerala, south India. The dam was built for the Malampuzha Irrigation Project .The Dam is the largest reservoir for irrigation. It was built in 1955.
The beauty of the dam is immense. Malampuzha Garden attracts everyone. Malampuzha Garden is one of the places where couples want to take photos and videos. The Malampuzha Yakshi was built by the famous sculptor Kanai Kunhiraman in this garden
